Kim

''As soon as may be. I follow the places of His life till I come to the River of the arrow. There is, moreover, a written paper of the hours of the trains that go south.''
''And for food?'' Lamas, as a rule, have good store of money some-where about them, but the curator wished to make sure.

The lama they are talking about is not a real lama. It would be weird having a lama talk. It is a lama, a person trying to be like Buddha. The river is also suppose to stand for a place where every thing is balanced. Like not to much food, not to less, just enough.
