Filed and stream

'' All morning I'd been fishing for perch and pike, and by 2"30 I considered calling it quits. But it was a perfect day- 65 degrees, sonny, a foot or ice on the lake- so I decided to drill a couple more holes in this particular cove. But first, I had to pee.
I walked off the lake to this spot that was thick with cattails. After I went, I turned around and saw a mountain lion not more then 3 feet away. It must've been there the entire time, because I didn't hear it approach. Before I had a chance to react, it lunged and knocked me flat on my back.
It locked on to my jaw with its mouth and was snorting and huffing right in my face. My sunglasses even fogged up. This whole time I', kicking in the guts as much as I could.

It left and I got on my ATV, and drove to the hospital. I had about 10 deep gashes on my right hand, wrist and forearm- two of which severed tendons. Along my jawline on the right side of my face, were two puncture wounds that wet all the way through my cheeks.

red is adjectival phrase.
green is a adverbial phrase.

people do not realize how many cougars are coming out more and more. people all the time are having problems with them. They ruined the perfect fishing day for that man. My dad said '' I would of just kept fishing., that should not of stoped a great day of fishing.'' Now I will always have to carry a big gun in the woods.
