Patrick F Mcmanus

That evening , as retch and I were hauling Quagmire's deer into Axle's Meat Cutters, neither of us talked much. Finally, Retch said,''I don't understand what beautiful women see in Quagmire.''

''I don't either,'' I said. ''He's handsome, rich, intelligent and charming, but otherwise, nothing.''

''Yeah,'' Retch said. ''I guess he's just lucky.''

I have a friend who is vary unlucky. He breaks things or get hurt all the time. I am not lucky but some how I counter dict him. Walking down a trail my friend Waylon would trip over a rock, hit his head and most likely knock himself cold. When I am there he would trip and land on me on a bunch of sharp rocks. One time I went to Waylon's house and he had built a 3 wheeled cart. So we went for a ride. We were riding a long when we realized we were heading for a bout a 5 foot drop. Not supper big, but would hurt in a 3 wheeled cart. I tell Waylon ''hit the brakes.'' He response ''there is none.'' So I yell ''BAIL.'' He bails on to a patch of grass with some rocks. I bail right into a patch of blackberry bush's. Some people are not lucky.
